Spring trend 2014: Sneakers & Sportswear

Women in New York have been rocking this trend for years, perhaps out of necessity rather than fashion. Sneakers can be paired with just about anything to make it casual and comfortable. A comfy pair of running shoes look great with skirts and dresses or jeans and a leather jacket. Many designers at fashion week like Tommy Hilfiger, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Balenciaga, and Alexander Wang all showed pieces with this common trend in mind. I'm not a huge fan of this trend but I love the idea of sneakers to dress down an outfit. 

Of course men have been wearing sneakers on the daily but, now women's time has come. Fashion star celebs like Rihanna and Rita Ora love wearing sneakers. 

OOTD: ripped denim

I did a post all about the ripped denim trend and I love this trend so much. I put together a little outfit of the day. I wound up taking some mirror selfies. Come on we all have them. No shame. Oh and say hello to my little nugget dog.
